 Express your personal creative vision using a diverse range of hand-building techniques (no wheel). All manners of expression will be encouraged, whether functional or sculptural. Participants are nurtured to work in individual directions, explore and discover themselves through clay and give into their creative impulse!
Classes are aimed at an adult public. No previous experience is needed for the beginners course and everybody is free to make whatever they like under the tutors guidance, but one has to understand (especially beginners) that a few basic techniques have to be learnt. For those who are so inclined, the use and making of plaster moulds will be used during the course.
Classes will be held every Tuesday, starting 15th July and ending 9th September 2008. (No classes will be held on Tuesday 12th August 2008). All the materials will be provided by St. James Cavalier Centre for Creativity.
About The Artist:
Zell Osborne has been permanently living in Malta since 1988. She had a number of solo exhibitions at St. James Cavalier and The Fine Arts Museum, as well as many collective ones. The Artist has 26 years experience in this field and she was the winner on the Malta International Biennale in 1997.
