Andriana Fenech Yordanova is a bulgarian soprano who started her career as a soloist at the school choire and the Children's Opera at her native town Varna. Her first performances at home and abroad were in 1985 in Amstetten and Baden bei Wien Austria with the main role in a musical.
She completed her studies in the National Academy of Music "Prof.Pancho Vladigerov" where she studied with Prof.Ilka Popova, winning a 3-rd prize in the First Academical Competition. In 1997 she followed a Tosca-course in the European Opera Centre in Manchester with prof. Marta Lantieri,Kostas Paskalis, Kent Nagano, Renata Schotto. Later she won a scholarship at Academia Bulgara d'Arte e Cultura Boris Christoff in Rome and studied with the italian mezzo-soprano Gianella Borelli, Masterclas with the tenor Kaludi Kaludov, at the moment under the supervision of Julliete Bizzasa Zhani. Back in Bulgaria she won the special prize for contemporary aria at the International Singing Competition "Hristo Brambarov", Sofia with aria of Magda Sorel from " The Counsul", Menotti. She took part in various TV broadcasts in Bulgaria.
During her studies as a soloist of the Choir at the Russian Church in Sofia, she took part in many tournees in Germany, Baden-Wuertemburg. Her operetic debut was with the role of Musetta in "La Boheme" at Bourgas Opera Theatre under the great bulgarian conducter Prof. Ivan Vulpe. At the State Opera House Varna she sang the roles of Fiordilidgi in "Cosi fan tutte", Mozart and Sylva Varesku in the wieniese classical operetta "The Princess of Chardash", Kalman. In 2002 she made her debute as another puccinian heroine - Mimi from "La Boheme" working with the italian conductor Luciano Di Martino.Andriana performed extensively in her home country. Her overseas performances with different opera companies include tournees in Germany, Austria, Turkey, Egypt.Andriana has also been busy performing in Malta - operetic concerts, baroque music, sacred and contemporary music.
Her repertoire includes various roles from operas, operettas, baroque, sacred and contemporary music. She currently teaches Voice Technique at "Masquerade Theatre Arts School".
